Some of our patients fly in from out of town to have their surgery performed by Dr. Baroody.  We have designed a convenient way to make those coming from out of the area to have a safe and comfortable experience.  Whether flying into JFK, LaGuardia, Westchester County (White Plains, NY), or Danbury Municipal Airport (DXR) we will provide all the appropriate amenities for an enjoyable, pleasant experience.

1. The Initial Evaluation

The first step is for Dr. Baroody to receive your general information, listen to your concerns, and determine if you are a candidate for cosmetic surgery.  This may be performed in two different ways.

A.  The recommended way is for you to arrive early and have a face to face consultation with Dr. Baroody and his staff.

B.  The second option is to have a virtual consultation by sending in completed forms and a series of pictures for Dr. Baroody to review.   Contact us for more detailed information regarding this option.

You will then be contacted and informed if you are a good candidate for the proposed procedure(s). We will then supply you with flight information, car service, and conveniently located hotel accommodations.

2. Scheduling Your Surgery

After a mutual decision between you and Dr. Baroody to proceed with surgery, our Cosmetic Coordinator will offer available dates. In order to guarantee the surgery date, a deposit is required and the balance due 2 weeks prior to surgery.

3. Pre-operative Visit

You will have access to consent forms on the download page of our website. Included in this packet are potential risks and complications, before and after instructions, and medications you should avoid 10 days prior to your procedure. When you arrive, you will be seen in our office to undergo a pre-operative evaluation which includes review of these materials, a
physical examination, pre-operative pictures, and to answer any remaining questions you may have.

4. Your Procedure

The following day, your procedure will be performed at either Ridgefield Surgery Center or New Milford Hospital depending on whether an overnight stay in a medical facility is required.

5. Recovery

For those coming in from out of town, your post-operative care is of paramount importance to us at Baroody Plastic Surgery. We require that you stay the recommended amount of time which varies depending on the type of procedure. Plan on approximately 5-10 days in Connecticut.  We are able to negotiate rates for you at a luxury hotel and nursing care if required. Car service is also available to transport you to and from your appointments with Dr. Baroody.

You will then travel home rested with a new refreshed look!
